PM Modi's special message to BJP Karyakartas on foundation day

New Delhi, April 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of BJP's foundation day wished BJP workers on Twitter. He will interact with thousands of booth karyakarta along with the 734 district presidents and their respective teams from five Lok Sabha constituencies through the Narendra Modi app via video conferencing today.

"I bow to all BJP4India Karyakartas on the special occasion of the Party’s Sthapana Diwas. We remember, with great pride, the heroic service & sacrifice of all Karyakartas who built the BJP & committed themselves towards creating a stronger & better India. India Trusts BJP," the PM Modi tweeted. 

He will have discussions on various issues. Prime Minister Modi will interact with the party workers from New Delhi, North East Delhi, North Central Mumbai, Hamirpur and Saran constituency. During the interaction, he will listen to the ideas of the party workers, and also discuss the schemes related to welfare of poor people.

He will also take questions from them. Use of technology to strengthen organisational bond and communicate directly with workers at each level underlines the value PM accords to each and every party worker.

The decision to interact with party workers at the ground level also reflects Prime Minister's deep commitment and respect for the institution of party worker.

There is a sense of excitement among the party workers in regard to the direct interaction with the Prime Minister.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), largest party in the world with more than 11 crore members across the nation. The BJP's origins lie in the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, formed in 1951 by Syama Prasad Mukherjee. After the State of Emergency in 1977, the Jana Sangh merged with several other parties to form the Janata Party; it defeated the incumbent Congress party in the 1977 general election.
