BJP leader Ram Madhav to monitor Karnataka poll campaign

Bengaluru, April 9: In order to boost the performance in upcoming Karnataka polls, Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed its trusted lieutenant Ram Madhav to monitor the election camping. According to media reports, the BJP General Secretary will take the stock of booth level activities. As reported by Deccan Herold, the former RSS leader has been entrusted with the task of coordination between intellectuals and civil society member.

After the successful electoral campaigns in North-eastern state, Madhav has been appointed to fine-tune the political situation of Andhra Pradesh after the TDP’s walkout from NDA. On March 17, BJP National President Amit Shah had met key BJP leaders from Andhra Pradesh and discussed the socio-political situation of the coastal state. As North-eastern State Chief, Madhav played a crucial role in recently held Tripura polls.
