Evoking good response, Bihar moves a step ahead with ‘Satyagraha Se Swacchagraha’

Patna, April 9: Evoking a good response on Satyagraha se swacchagraha, Bihar campaign a week long cleanliness drive. The state-wide campaign would culminate tomorrow with a concluding ceremony of the centenary year of Champaran Satyagraha at Motihari in East Champaran district.

The land of Champaran is place where Mahatma Gandhi had successfully waged war of truth 100 years ago not against Britishers but also against filthiness, exploitation and other evils of society.

With same spirit and motivation Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given call of Swacchagrah and Chalo Champaran for clean and healthy society. For the Swacchagrah Sammelan and the ceremony of Tuesday (10th April) elaborate arrangements have been made. A makeshift Swacchatagram for sanitation motivators has been set up.

Many chronological events related to Champaran Satygrah and Mahatma Gandhi has been replicated with wall paintings, statues and other installations at the venue.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will administer the oath of cleanliness and address the conference of 20,000 sanitation motivators on the occasion.

The most successful cleanliness campaign of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan has shown immense change in the way people have accepted and created change in the society. Promoting swacchta in the society and spreading it all over hovering Gandhiji’s philosophy of clean India.
