Chandrababu Naidu raps center for TDP MP’s arrest

New Delhi/ Amaravati, April 9: Expressing displeasure over the arrest of Telugu Desam Lawmakers who were protesting near PM Narendra Modi’s residence, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu slammed Centre for alleged action against TDP MPs. Condemning the police action, Babu termed BJP government as oppressive and inhuman.

The Chief Minister accused Delhi Police of manhandling TDP members who were staging protest near Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence for special category status to Andhra Pradesh. Later Telugu Desam MPs were taken to the Tughlak Road Police Station. Responding to the development, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had backed TDP over the demand of special category status. The Delhi Chief Minister even condemned the arrest of TDP MPs by the Delhi Police.
