Santhemarahalli, May 1: ‘Not just the wave, Karnataka is whirling with a storm of Bhartiya Janata Party,’ enthusiastically said Prime Minister Narendra Modi after kicking off his election campaign trail from today. PM Modi promised that BJP won’t ever let down the austerity of Karnataka’s people and will always strive to work for the needs of people.

Addressing the first rally of election campaign today, PM Modi recalled the significant 1st May which is marked as Maharashtra Day, Gujarat Day and also the Labours Day. PM Modi gave credibility to the ‘workers’ of the country who have worked to bring India so far successfully. He also expressed gratitude towards workers for making the dream of ‘electrifying India’ a reality.

Bhartiya Janata Party has met the deadline of electrifying villages of India; we won’t stop here, as now the dream goes to electrify every house, said PM Modi. Reiterating back to the Congress’ errant tantrums, PM Modi questioned, even after 70 years of independence, 4 Crores houses still do not have electricity. Those who keep abusing us day and night do not tell why there are still 4 Crores households without electricity. But under Saubhagya Yojana, we will provide free electricity connection to these houses, assured PM Modi.

Attacking Congress, PM Modi continued saying that Congress people don’t even have the knowledge about the own history, don’t have any sense about India’s historical significance. PM Modi questioned, “In 2005, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of the UPA government said that we will provide electricity to every village till 2009, as well as Sonia Gandhi had talked of giving power to every household till 2009, but it did not happen till 2014,” what happened to this promise?”

Congress is led by Rahul Gandhi who has no knowledge of India's history, has no respect for 'Vande Mataram', is not even aware of the promises made by his party's govt. Will he ask Manmohan Singh & Sonia Gandhi why they failed to fulfil the promises of electrifying all villages? he asked.

Not fulfilling the promises on own, you know to tease and insult the workers who have worked so ardently? PM Modi asked.

Talking about Karnataka, in 2017 at least 39 villages were not having electricity, we have provided those villages with the electricity, he added. PM Modi stressed on the significance of Democracy by taking opinion of every common seriously.

He recalled about the challenge given by Rahul Gandhi, Congress President has challenged me, if he speaks for 15 minutes in Parliament Modi will not be able to sit. PM Modi said he is correct; there is a no way ordinary person like me, who do not even dress well, can sit with such high and mighty people like the Congress President. We are Kaamdaars. What is our level that we can sit with people like the Congress President, who look down on us, P[M Modi added.

Reiterating back PM Modi challenged Rahul Gandhi, I challenge you (Rahul Gandhi) to speak for 15 minutes on the achievements of your government in Karnataka without reading from any piece of paper. You can speak in Hindi, English or your mother tongue (Italian).

Further PM Modi said that while reading newspaper he came to one event which said, 2+1 formula which is nothing but the ‘family politics’. Hitting out at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, PM Modi said fearing the defeat; the Chief Minister is running away and thinking of contesting from two places.

Dynatis politics has destroyed nations and communities, democracy, he added. In Karnataka, the fight is between ‘family politics’ of Congress party and ‘people’s politics’ of BJP, PM Modi said. Congress has been exposed over its corrupt politics, Karnataka people are aware about this. Inviting people to vote for BJP, PM Modi said that on 12th May, people should vote for future of Karnataka.

PM Modi also stressed on the decision taken by BJP government to hang the rapists which was another milestone achieved in the span of Modi government. Karnataka has been broiling under the bad governance and disturbed law and order, PM Modi stressed.

Further addressing public rally in Udipi, PM Modi enthusiastically greeted people with Bharta Mata ki Jai. Presence of people and enthusiastic participation itself shows Karnataka is ready to ‘punish Congress’, PM Modi said by thanking for the love shown.

PM Modi promised to give back the love in the form of ‘development’ for people of Karnataka.

Teasing Congress, P,M Modi said we don’t exploit, we nurture nature.

Signifying Udupi, as “Lands of Temple’, PM Modi said Udipi has its unique significance-“Land of Banking. From this land, country got new energy and direction in banking. Our Government will leave no stone unturned to fulfill aspirations of people of Karnataka and ensure all round development of the state,” PM Modi assured.

With gratefulness, PM Modi said the way people of Udipi have had ushered their affection towards Jan Sangh and the BJP for so many years is heartening.

We connected banking with the youth of this country and started PM MUDRA Yojana. Around 12 crore loans were approved totaling more than Rs 4 lakh crore. In Karnataka 1.25 crore loans were approved, PM Modi informed.

Recalling about political killings, PM Modi said in democracy, violence has no place. However, in the last two years scores of BJP karyakartas were murdered. The country is working towards enhancing 'Ease of Doing Business' in the country, but Congress believes in 'Ease of Doing Murder.'

The last dream of Mahatma Gandhi was to scatter the Congress, the state which has now got the opportunity is Karnataka, PM Modi insisted. I urge people of Karnataka to fulfill the dream of Mahatama Gandhi ji. He wanted the Congress party to be disbanded. Now, it's Karnataka's turn, PM Modi said.

Hitting at Congress, PM Modi said 'Atkana,' 'Latkana' & 'Bhatkana' has become the habit of Congress. If we take decisions, we ensure its implementation, talking about BJP, he said.

Congress government in Karnataka shields sand mafias. Those who loot should not remain in power, they must go, insisted PM Modi.
