Chennai, May 10: For the first time, Superstar Rajinikanth clarified that he is still in process of fine-tuning the ecosystem required for his much anticipated political foray. Speaking at the grand audio launch event of his upcoming movie Kaala, Rajani assured that he is committed to the welfare of Tamil Nadu. On 31 December last year, the ace actor had announced his new innings. He went on declaring that his outfit would 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu.
A large section of superstar’s fan believed that Kaala, a power-packed action drama would pave the way for Rajani’s political journey. Taking a pot-shot on distractors, Thaliva said that he has nothing to do with what others say about him. He asserted that irrespective of criticism, he will move forward towards the final goal.
After the successful rollout of Kabali, the Thalaivar once again joined hands with Pa. Ranjith for the high octane social-political drama where Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of Mumbai gangster. The project is helmed by veteran movie maker Pa. Ranjith and bankrolled by actor Dhanush, under the banner of Wunderbar Films in association with Lyca Productions, a leading production house down south. Besides Rajinikanth, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, and Anjali Patil. Santhosh Narayanan has been roped in for music. Kala will hit the screen on June 6 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
