Patna, May 10: Invoking the contentious Bihar special category status issue, Rashtriya Janta Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has failed in getting long pending legitimate demand of special category status. Venting his anger on Twitter, the former Dy- Chief Minister accused Nitish Kumar of politicizing the special status issue.
Recounting the alleged statement of the Bihar Chief Minister, Yadav mentioned that in 2000 during bifurcation of Bihar, Nitish had registered his protest against the same. He further added that the JD(U) Chief is resorting to politics of convenience. Taking a pot-shot on BJP-JDU alliance, Tejaswi stated that even after being in the power for four years, BJP did not have clarity on special Status to Bihar. He maintained that his party has always baked the idea of the special economic package and special status to Bihar.
