Sharing strong friendship goals, PM Modi to deepen ties with Nepal on 11 and 12 May

New Delhi, May 10: Giving major friendship goals, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Nepal on May 11 for the third time. Visiting the neighboring nation on the invitation by Nepal Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli, the visit is aimed to strengthen the relations between both the nations.

Sharing personal attachment to the age-old, close and friendly ties with Nepal, PM Modi has been scheduled to start his journey in Nepal by seeking the blessings of Goddess Sita by landing in Janakpur and attending the pooja in the Janaki temple.

 

PM Modi’s visit, coming barely a month after Nepal PM KP Sharma Oli’s trip to India, is intended to show that both sides want to move beyond the tough times of the past few years. Modi is taking a religious route to Nepal this time, stopping at two important places of worship Janakpur and Muktinath.

 

Following the government’s commitment to ‘Neighborhood First’, the motto of the high-level and regular interactions focusing on ‘SabkaSaath, SabkaVikas’. Together, the two countries have completed several bilateral connectivity and development projects in the last few years, and have initiated transformational initiatives for the benefit of our two peoples.

 

As Nepal enters a new era of consolidating gains of democracy and achieving rapid economic growth and development, India will continue to remain a steadfast partner of Government of Nepal to implement its vision of ‘Samriddha Nepal, Sukhi Nepali'.
