SC rejects plea demanding probe into Sridevi’s death

New Delhi, May 11: Supreme Court today scrapped the petition demanding an investigation into actor Sridevi’s death. Filmmaker Sunil Singh had filed a plea in connection with Sridevi’s suspicious death. As reported by Times Now, Singh challenged the authenticity of version narrated by Sridevi’s kin and several media reports surfaced in this regard.
The petitioner also raised the issue of Rs. 240 crore insurance policy in her name in Oman. This is not the first time his plea is being rejected by the court. Earlier, Sunil Sing had approached Delhi High court by plea was negated. The maverick actress was passed away on February 24, in Dubai. The forensic report mentioned that Sridevi died of accidental drowning after losing balance and falling in a bathtub full of water.
