Stressing on to bring out tech savvy innovations, PM Modi interacts with Indian Foreign Service officers

New Delhi, May 15: India has always welcomed and encouraged new innovative technologies from young brains. Leading on similar lines, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the Indian Foreign Service training officers and urged the officials to embrace latest technology and think about innovative ways to engage with the vibrant Indian diaspora.

Having an interactive session with the officers, PM Modi interacted with 39 training officers who are undergoing training in the Foreign Service Institute. The interactive session brought out various ideas and techniques which would procure fruitful results in the field of technology and enduring foreign services in the future.

 

Stressing on the context of representing India on the global platform with exploring wide range of cultural and traditional expedition, PM Modi expressed his desire to explore rich diversities of India. PM Modi said that the IFS officers should remain alive not only on the current national priorities but also explore future requirements for national development.

The Prime Minister encouraged the Officer Trainees to become more tech-savvy and engage fully with the State governments and diaspora, who are increasingly important stakeholders in the conduct of foreign relations.

Two diplomats from Bhutan, also currently under training at the Foreign Service Institute, also joined the group.
