Uzbek ambassador Farhod Arziev meets Gujarat CM Rupani; extends support for Vibrant Gujarat

Gandhinagar, May 15: Uzbekistan's ambassador to India Farhod Arziev on Monday Called on Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at the state secretariat. In his maiden visit to Gujarat, Arziev appreciated the industrial ecosystem developed by the state government. The ambassador also hailed the initiatives like GIFT city, PCPIR and expressed happiness over the business-friendly infrastructure and facilities developed by the state government.
During this meeting, Farhod Arziev announced that Uzbekistan will participate in the Vibrant Gujarat business summit scheduled in 2019. Both leaders expressed willingness to collaborate in the sectors like pharmaceutical products, oil and natural gas and Mining. On this occasion, Rupani thanked Uzbek ambassador for accepting the invitation of Vibrant Gujarat summit, a flagship event of Gujarat government. He further added that trade and cultural ties will strengthen the Uzbekistan- Gujarat bilateral relations.
