After Karnataka, BJP to play major role in Andhra Pradesh: Kanna Lakshminarayana

New Delhi, May 16: Applauding BJP’s comeback in Karnataka, newly appointed Andhra Pradesh BJP Chief Kanna Lakshminarayana claimed that BJP will replicate its splendid performance in Andhra Pradesh. Kanan who was in the national capital to attend the meeting of office bearers termed Karnataka results as the reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity in southern states.

As reported by The Hindu, the AP BJP Chief stated that BJP will emerge as the strong player in the coastal state. Responding to TDP’s claims, the former minister said that BJP will expose the double standards of Chandra Babu Naidu.

He announced that state-wide mass outreach programme will be launched to counter the false claims of ruling party. Kanna hoped that just like Kannadigas, Telugu people will back BJP. In his Delhi stay, Kanna met senior BJP leader and Andhra Pradesh in-charge Ram Madhav and discussed the political situation in the state.
