Bhopal, May 16: Patriotism is a sentiment which makes a person proud of its own country but if this sentiment is taught right from the childhood then the child gets connects to its soil in the age of molding itself. Keeping this in mind, Madhya Pradesh government has decided to foster the students by passing an order that while calling the roll out in the school rather than calling ‘yes sir or yes ma’am’ the student will say ‘Jai Hind.’

This instruction will be implemented from the new academic session. According to an order by the state government issued on Tuesday, “It has now been made compulsory for all 1.22 lakh government schools in the state to answer attendance roll calls by saying Jai Hind instead of yes sir/ma'am. This is the decision taken by state government to instill patriotism among students.”

State Education Minister Vijay Shah said that from now, in government schools during attendance call, students will reply with ‘Jai Hind’ instead of ‘Yes sir’ or ‘Yes Madam’. This will instill a sense of patriotism among the youth.

The order has not any instructions for private schools yet but soon they will be instructed in this regard as well.
