Swachh Survekshan finds no garbage though using binoculars in Jharkhand; awards as the best performing state

Ranchi, May 17: Compared to the year 2016, Jharkhand has achieved the first award of the Best Performing State in the Swachh Survekshan 2018, with tremendous improvement in its ranking. It has been reported in a government release that cities such as Giridih, Bundu, Pakud, and Chaibasa, along with the capital Ranchi, have also performed very well.

 Chief Minister Raghubar Das congratulated the officials for this success and said that this is a matter of pride for us. In a statement, Das said that for the first time I want to give a devotion to the citizens of the state, whose efforts have made the cities of Jharkhand in so performing mode.

 

Simultaneously, Municipal Development Ministers, officers of the department, officers and staff of the city body are all eligible for congratulations. In the coming time, we have to include our other cities in the best rankings.

It has been stated in the communiqué that in the year 2018, Jharkhand got the first award of the Best Performing State in the Swachh Survekshan released by the Urban Development Ministry. Jharkhand defeated Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, securing first place.

In the survey, Ranchi has secured first place in Best State Capital in Citizen Feedback. Giridih (1-3 lakh population) got the Best City in Citizen Feedback Award.
