As quoted by Mid-Day, Vivek Krishnani, Managing Director Sony Pictures Entertainment India in an official launch event heaped praises of Indian seamer for her massive achievements in the field of Cricket. Krishnani expressed that, Jhulan’s unprecedented journey would be a source of inspiration for the youngster and aspiring cricketers.
This will be the first biopic based on any India female cricketer. Earlier, films based on former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar were released with rave reviews.
After the massive success of Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man and Amitabh Bachchan-Rishi Kapoor’s family entertainer 102 Not Out, Jhulan Goswami’s biopic will be the prestigious project by Sony Pictures International Productions.
