BJP poll manager Somu Veerraju questions Telugu Desam’s interest in Karnataka polls

Hyderabad, May 19: After senior BJP leader Ram Madhav’s attack on Chandra Babu Naidu, newly appointed election Committee convener Somu Veerraju took a fresh swipe at the Telugu Desam Chief questioning Naidu’s enthusiasm on Karnataka polls.

Addressing the media persons here, the AP BJP leader said that the Chief Minister should focus on state affairs rather than poking nose in Karnataka politics. Veerraju took a dig at Naidu over his comments on Congress and JD(S) post-poll pact.

Recounting to the role of Chandra Babu in toppling various government at Centre, the BJP MLA stated that the AP Chief Minister, who had backstabbed his own father-in-law NTR has no moral right to comment on BJP’s affairs.

Dismissing the claim of Chandrababu Naidu, Veerraju pointed out that his party has performed well in Telugu dominated areas. Earlier, the TDP National president maintained that BJP had faced heat in 64 Telugu majority Assembly segments.
