Digvijay Singh to head coordination committee for Madhay Pradesh poll

New Delhi, May 22: After the long political break, senior leader Digvijay Singh has been appointed as the head of coordination committee for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh poll. The former MP Chief Minister and close aide of Congress president Rahul Gandhi will take on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Young leader Jyotiraditya Scindia will look after the election campaign committee for Madhya Pradesh. The principal opposition party has also announced the six committees and twenty DCC Presidents for Madhya Pradesh. Last month, senior Congress leader and Chhindwara MP took the charge of Madhya Pradesh state president. The 230-member Madhya Pradesh assembly will go to polls later this year.
