Rajkot, May 28: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Sunday flagged-off the much awaited Rajkot- Mumbai Duronto from Rajkot. Speaking on this occasion, Rupani thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Piyush Goel for the successful roll-out of the ambitious Rail project for Saurashtra region.

Terming Rajkot- Mumbai express as the carrier of the development, the Chief Minister stated that the newly launched project will be a watershed moment for the western region of the state. He further added that Rajkot- Mumbai express would fast-track the development process in entire Saurashtra region. On this occasion, former Union minister Rajkot MP Mohan Kundaria, MLA Govind Patel, Rajkot Dy-Mayor Darshita Shah and other dignitaries were present.
