BJP begins 2019 Lok Sabha poll campaign in 5th gear; launches 'Sampark for Samarthan' to get in touch with masses directly

New Delhi, May 29: One year left for the high voltage 2019 Lok Sabha elections and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) began its poll campaign in 5th gear while other political parties seemed to be busy with only making strategies. 

Aiming to mark the fourth anniversary of PM Modi-led government and win 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP on Tuesday launched a massive outreach programme 'Sampark for Samarthan' with party president Amit Shah meeting ex-Army chief Dalbir Singh Suhag.

BJP National President Amit Shah launched 'Sampark for Samarthan', a door to door initiative aimed at making people aware of the transformative initiatives undertaken by PM Modi’s government in the last four years met former Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag. During this meeting, Amit Shah briefed ex-Army general about the achievements and initiatives undertaken by PM Modi-led government.



Amit Shah also met constitution expert Subhash Kashyap at his residence in Delhi as a part of BJPs 'Sampark for Samarthan’ initiative. However, Amit Shah will personally meet at least 50 people as part of the 'contact for support' programme.


'Sampark for Samarthan' means 'contact for support' programme was launched by BJP National President Amit Shah in a bid to contact at least one lakh people who are recognized names in their fields to inform them about the PM Modi-led government's achievements.

During the mega-campaign, about 4,000 BJP functionaries, including chief ministers, Union ministers and panchayat members will meet one lakh people who are recognized names in their fields to inform them about the PM Modi-led government's achievements.
