Nitin Gadkari pitches for BJP –Shivsena alliance in 2019

Mumbai, May 29: Amidst the strained relationship between BJP and Shivsena in Maharashtra, Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the ideological partner should jointly face the upcoming 2019 general elections. Speaking to the media here, the former BJP National president stated that both parties should sort out the contentious issues amicably.
Recounting the long association of BJP and Shiv Sena, the Nagpur MP opined that both parties should continue with the alliance crafted by stalwarts like Shivsena Chief Balasheb Thackeray and BJP leader Pramod Mahajan. He further underlined that in politics there are no permanent friends or enemies.
