New Delhi, May 29: Hailing achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the completion of four successful years. Presenting the report on the accomplishments of the government, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj bestowed the success on the foreign policy front on completion of its four years in office.

EAM Sushma Swaraj, along with her deputies, VK Singh and MJ Akbar, released a book on MEA’s achievements in the last 4 years.

 

EAM Sushma Swaraj hailed her government’s unprecedented outreach to the world. She said that PM Narendra Modi and another member of government have visited at least 186 out of 192 countries in the world so far. Expressing her surprise to the visits India covered, Sushma Swaraj said that it came as a surprise that the government could not cover the entire desired leaders. “When we formed our government, we thought that we will cover all the 192 countries present at the UN, for ministerial level talks. And, we have covered 186 countries already,” she added.

Swaraj further hailed her government’s initiatives for to help its citizens overseas whenever there was a need. “90,000 people from Indian community have been rescued from various places. In his visits to many countries, PM has saved many people from severe punishments. Today, Indians living overseas are living peacefully,” Swaraj said.

Making passport Seva Kendra available to each and every person who wants to visit places, the government decided to set up passport Seva Kendra at various levels, different Kendra was launched. Apart from this the government also got in collaboration with the Post office. The Yojana slated as Sameep which let the people travel and visit their schools and interact with the people and there has been a great response to the yojana.

Giving importance to the regional language, India started ‘Videsh Aaya Pradesh ke Dwaar’, and this yojana let the GSVP to visit the areas and have started this initiative from Hyderabad wherein the regional language gets utmost importance.

The country hails 22 languages, the book hails everything that the reader wants to know about the country and all the 22 books contained in the box will have regional language. Secondly, diplomacy for development did not come out that outwards for the people. Going digital made India connects with other country and the technology has gained vast momentum. Because of this by February the country earned 14 lakh crores because of technology.

Various departments brought together to understand the economic diplomacy of the country. Emphasizing on export control regime India has achieved 3 out of 4 countries. This is termed as one of the most important achievement. India’s agenda ongoing global, the country has ever achieved it.
