Vijayawada, May 31: Refuting the allegations levelled by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, state BJP Chief Kanna Lakshminarayana said that the Chief Minister is twisting facts to defame Prime Minister Modi.

Speaking to the media on the backdrop of TDP’s Mahanadu conclave, the BJP leader stated that the Central government is extending all support for the overall development of the coastal state. He went on saying that most of the poll-promises have already been addressed by the NDA government.

Responding to the charges on Special Category Status, Kanna slammed TDP president for being inconsistent on Special Category tag. He maintained that the ruling party has been on the back foot by the aggressive campaign of YSR Congress and Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena. The former minister expressed that BJP government will do justice to the demands of Andhra People.

When asked about the poll strategy of BJP for upcoming 2019 general elections and assembly polls Lakshminarayana announced that BJP will contest the prestigious poll on its own. He further warned that BJP will give a strong rebuttal to the unsubstantial allegations of Chandra Babu.
