UK Minister Mark Field meets Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao; hails T-Hub

Hyderabad, May 9: Minister of State for Asia and Pacific Mark Field on Tuesday met Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao in the state capital. Minister Field who is on a short trip to Hyderabad stressed upon the UK-Telangana ties. Both the leaders had brief interaction about the proposed collaboration in the field of technology, life sciences, defense, and Textiles. On this occasion, British High Commissioner to India Andrew Fleming and other officials were present.
Following the meeting, the UK Minister visited T-Hub, India’s largest incubator a prestigious venture of state government under the leadership of IT Minister KTR. Field poured praises on Telangana government for nurturing 200 odd innovative start-ups. Later he attended the summer camp organized by Voice4Girls forum in collaboration with BDHC Hyderabad. Minister for Asia Mark Field, who arrived in India on May 7 had called on key officials of the Central government which includes Minister MJ Akbar, Niti aayog Vice-Chairmen Rajiv Kumar, and CEO Amitabh Kant.
