Andhra Pradesh to attain global recognition: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati, May 9: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu claimed that the coastal state will attain a top position by 2029. Addressing the 16th collectors conference here, Babu said that Andhra Pradesh, currently in the 9th place in per capita income will emerge as the most preferred destination around the globe. During this two -day conclave, Naidu reviewed the progress of each department and took stock of the functioning of ongoing schemes. He also sought inputs and suggestions from Secretaries & District Collectors.

On this occasion, Naidu declared that state government has achieved the target of cent percent electrification and gas connections. He further added that the newly crafted state has surpassed other states having more resources. Commenting on the future challenges, Babu urged officers to gear up for the rollout of 100% road connectivity.

Underlining the importance of information and technology, the TDP Chief stated that state government is working on the action plan for providing high-speed internet felicity using ambitious AP fiber grid project. He informed that near about 6,000 Virtual Classrooms will be arranged by the state administration. On Swach Bharat mission, Naidu said that by 10th May, Andhra Pradesh will be declared as an ODF state.
