Mainpuri, June 11: Reacting to Swami Prasad Maurya’s jibe on proposed SP-BSP alliance, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said that his party is ready to co-operate with Mayawati’s Bahujan Samajwadi Party. Speaking to the media, the former Chief Minister mentioned that the poll-understating between two outfits will ensure the defeat of BJP in upcoming 2019 election.

Earlier, Yogi cabinet member and former BSP leader Swami Prasad Maurya took a jibe at Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav. Terming SP-BSP coalition as the issue-less opportunistic tie-up, the Minister predicted that the so-called united front will not be able to see the light of 2019 election. On the other hand, BSP chief Mayawati called for a respectable number of seats in order to ensure the smooth sailing of the alliance.
