Spiritual Guru Bhaiyyuji Maharaj commits suicide at his residence in Indore; reason unknown

Indore, June 12: Famous spiritual guru and social worker, Bhaiyyuji Maharaj committed suicide by shooting himself today. He was admitted to Indore's Bombay Hospital in the injured state, where he died. The reason for the suicide is not known yet.


 

Indore Police Inspector Jayant Rathod said that Bhayyuji shot himself in the head. It is not known now that under what circumstances did Bhayyuji took this step. A large number of police forces are deployed in the hospital. Bhayyuji had good roots in politics. Recently, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government gave him the status of the Minister of State. However, he did not accept the proposal of the Madhya Pradesh government. He had said that the post is not important for the saints. It is important for us to serve people.

Bhayyaji Maharaj was counted as politically powerful saints. His real name was Udai Singh Deshmukh, and his father was a legendary leader of the Congress in Maharashtra. His name came in the discussion when the UPA government approached him to persuade Anna Hazare on hunger strike during the anti-corruption movement.
