When asked about the controversial stint of Vishwaroopam, the national award-winning stated that he is ready to face any adversaries in order to ensure the smooth sailing of the second part. In 2013, Vishwaroopam was mired in the controversy after the protest of Muslim groups for showing the community in a bad light. Anticipating the law and problem, the then Chief Minister J Jayalalitha had stalled the releases of Haasan’s dream project.
Written and directed by Kamal Haasan, the film has rich star cast which includes Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur, Waheeda Rehman, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Nassar. The film was shot in Tamil and Hindi and dubbed in Telugu. On Monday, Amir Khan released the Hindi version of Vishwaroopam 2 where Tamil and Telugu trailers were shared by Shruti Haasan and Jr NTR.

Director Rohit Shetty will present the Hindi version of Vishwaroopam 2. Vishwaroopam 2 is being bankrolled by Raajkamal Films International in assassination with Aascar Ravichandran's Aascar Films. The flick will hit the screen on August 10.
