Hyderabad, June 12: Controversial BJP Lawmaker T Raja Singh Lodh has been booked for his alleged remarks on Iftar parties. The Goshamahal MLA shared a video on Facebook terming Iftar parties as the medium of seeking votes from the minority community.
The BJP leader further went on saying that he would not host such events to appease one section. According to media reports, a case has been filed against Singh at Falaknuma Police Station for hurting religious sentiments. The BJP leader also condemned the trend of Iftar parties by political parties during the holy session of Ramadan. Earlier, Raja Singh took a dig at K Chandrashekhar Rao led TRS government for misusing taxpayers money to host state-sponsored Iftar parties.
