Gandhinagar, June 14: Launching a frontal attack on Patidar leader Hardik Patel for spreading rumors, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that Hardik’s pity attempts showcase his desperation of getting eyeballs. Earlier in the day, Hardik Patel alleged that Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani would resign from the post and new Patidar leader will assume the office of the Chief Minister.
Speaking to the media, the Gujarat Chief Minister clarified that he has not taken any such steps as claimed by PAAS convener. Terming it as the brainchild of dirty tricks department against the state government, Rupani maintained that opposition is deliberately fuelling such fake reports to destabilize the democratically elected government.
Meanwhile, Dy- Chief Minister Nitin Patel took a dig at Hardik for misusing social media platforms to speared lies in order to distrust social order. BJP state President Jitu Vaghani also condemned Hardik Patel for misleading the people of Gujarat.
