Manohar Parrikar returns from US

Mumbai, June 14: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who was recuperating in the US since last couple of months, has returned to Mumbai a short while ago. He is expected to return to Goa soon.

This is surely good news for the people of Goa. The BJP activists and supporters were praying for his speedy recovery and his coming back to India was certainly the happiest moment for them.

Parrikar was suffering from cancer of the pancreas and had gone to US for treatment since last two and half months. His health has improved now and he is now expected to resume the work.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis currently on the tour to the US has met Parrikar and congratulated him for the improvement in his health. People of Goa and Maharashtra are eagerly waiting to see Manohar Parrikar resume work soon again, Fadanvis said in a twitter message.
