Centre positive on Visakhapatnam railway zone and Kadapa steel plant: BJP leader K Hari Babu

Visakhapatnam, June 15: Days after the crucial deliberations with BJP National President Amit Shah, senior Andhra Pradesh BJP leader K Hari Babu assured that official announcement regarding proposed railway zone at Visakhapatnam will be made soon.

Addressing the media here, the Visakhapatnam MP reiterated that Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the welfare of Andhra Pradesh.

When asked about the reservation of Odisha in this regard, Hari Babu stated that all the issues raised by neighboring states would be addressed by the concerned authority. He further added that Railway Minister Piyush Goyal will direct Railway Board, the apex decision-making body to chalk out the plan for new railway zone at Visakhapatnam.

Reacting to the alleged shelving of Kadapa steel plant, the BJP leader urged people not to get influenced by the propaganda of ruling party. Babu asserted that central government will act according to the provisions of AP bifurcation act 2014.
