Thiruvananthapuram, June 18: As the international yoga day is coming near, Kovalam, a city from God’s own country Kerala, is set to be in the global yoga tour map. Kovalam is the best place for yoga, certify the participants of Yoga Ambassador Tour. Around 60 yoga exponents from 22 countries are participating in the Yoga Ambassador Tour.

The Yoga Ambassador Tour is organized by ATTOI (Association of Tourism Trade Organizations, India), in association with Ministry of Ayush and Kerala Tourism. The participants in the event include yoga instructors, researchers, disciples, tour operators, wellness magazine personnel and yoga admirers. Though they come from different parts of the world, speaking different languages, with different religious beliefs, all were unanimous in one thing and that is the serenity and ambiance of Kovalam beach as the venue for practicing yoga.

Opting the Kovalam beach as the backdrop for performing yoga, the participants shared their views on participating in these sessions. The serenity and calm waves of the sea and the energy of the multi-cultural yogis and the power of the ocean made the difference here giving a memorable memory.

Kovalam beach has been the venue for various events in the past, but the potential to highlight Kovalam as the destination for yoga was not realized until the Yoga Ambassadors Tour.
