Mumbai, June 19: Terming BJP’s decision of snapping ties with Peoples Democratic Party as politically motivated, senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that PDP-BJP alliance was unnatural as well as anti-national.

Speaking to the media, Raut stated that from the beginning itself, Shiv Sena had voiced its concern over the opportunistic ties between BJP and PDP. He further added that only because of 2019 election, BJP has parted away from Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday withdrew support from Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP over the issue of terrorism and violence. BJP General Secretary and in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir announced the big move.

Expressing deep concern over the developments in the valley, Madhav blamed senior alliance partner for rising terrorism, violence, and radicalization in the region. In 45-member state assembly, PDP has 28 members and BJP has 25 lawmakers.
