Amaravati, June 19: Launching a fresh attack on Chandra Babu Naidu led TDP government, senior BJP leader Somu Veerraju has accused ruling party of misusing central grants. Days after the NITI aayog’s meeting where Naidu had voiced issue of the financial crunch in the state, the BJP lawmaker demanded that TDP government must clarify on the financial assistance provided by the center.
Speaking to the media, the newly appointed poll manager stated that BJP would be filing a PIL to unearth the truth behind the fund utilization by the state government. Citing major violation in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, the BJP leader lambasted at TDP government for diverting the funds for the various purposes.
Reacting to the allegations levelled by TDP over shelving of Kadapa steel plant Veerraju slammed TDP for defaming BJP leaders. He further added that ruling party at the center had never stalled the important project.
