India gets its beauty of the year: Anukreethy Vas crowned as Femina Miss India World 2018

Mumbai, June 20: India got its beauty for the year 2018, Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu has been crowned Femina Miss India World 2018. Vas was named the winner at a function held in Mumbai on Tuesday, with last year's Miss World Manushi Chhillar awarding her the crown. Anukreethy, who beat 30 contestants to bag the honor, will now represent India at this year's Miss World.

 

While Haryana’s Meenakshi Chaudhary was announced the first runner-up, Shreya Rao Kamavarapu of Andhra Pradesh has been adjudged as the second runner-up.

The judges’ panel included Manushi Chhillar, cricketers Irfan Pathan and Lokesh Rahul and actors Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol and Kunal Kapoor.

Vas was among these top 5 and won the Miss India Crown:

Gayatri Bhardwaj - Miss India Delhi

Meenakshi Chaudhary - Miss India Haryana

Stefy Patel - Miss India Jharkhand

Anukreethy Vas - Miss India Tamil Nadu

Shreya Rao Kamavarapu - Miss India Andhra Pradesh
