Subramanian Swamy demands stern action against Vijay Mallya

New Delhi, June 20: Expressing deep concern over the condition of ex-employees of Kingfisher Airlines owned by Vijay Mallya, who is under the scanner for alleged financial offenses, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has urged Prime Minister Modi to take stern action against the Kingfisher boss.

In an official communication, citing media reports about the poor financial condition of Kingfisher staff, Swamy demanded that properties owned Mallya should be confiscated for clearing pending dues and salaries of the staff.

The Rajya Sabha MP also slammed central agencies for not being able to nab Mallya. He asked the central government to initiate a probe against concern bank officers for extending huge loans to Mallya. The former Union Minister expressed displeasure over the alleged escape of Ex-Rajya Sabha MP despite lookout notice.
