Chennai, June 28: Social media giant Twitter is all set to host the first #VanakkamTwitter live interactive session. Twitter India’s official handle today shared the poster of the much anticipated digital conference where veteran Tamil actor Kamal Hassan will participate in Twitter live.
In a bid to engage regional digital consumers in Indian, especially down south, the international social media firm has floated the initiate of #VanakkamTwitter focusing on Tamil speaking audience. In Tamil Vanakkam means welcome.
Informing about the engagement, the ace actor took to Twitter and said, “I will be at #VanakkamTwitter later today, and you can catch a live-stream of my conversation on my Twitter handle. If you have Q’s for me, tweet them with #AskKamalHaasan and we’ll try and answer some of them. Stay tuned!”

On this occasion, a special song Raati, scored by music director Santhosh Dhayanidhi will be released by the Young Tamil filmmaker Atlee Kumar.
Earlier, recognizing the enthusiasm of Tamil movie buffs, special Twitter emojis for actor Vijay’s award Mersal and Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest flick kaala were launched by the Twitter India.
