Baahubali director SS Rajamauli supports Akshaya Patra’s #I Share My Lunch drive

Hyderabad, June 6: Baahubali Director SS Rajamauli, known for his humble nature has joined hands with Akshaya Patra Foundation to server nutritious meal for school children. Under the campaign of #I Share My Lunch, the maverick director has voluntarily decided to sponsor the lunch of around 2500 school children.

Expressing happiness over the association, Rajamuli took to Twitter and said, “This year, we are sharing our lunch with 2500 school children for an entire year through Akshaya Patra Foundation.” He appealed fans to support the social cause introduced by Akshaya Patra Foundation.

Last year, SS Rajamauli along with Baahubali Producer Shobu Yarlagadda had visited the Akshaya Patra’s regional center at Narsingi. According to the official website of Akshaya Patra, Narsingi center takes care of near about 65,000 school children.

Founded in the year 2000, Akshaya Patra Foundation, a Bengaluru based NGO proactively implements the mid-day meal programme by serving wholesome food to over 1.6 million children from 13,839 schools across 12 states in India.
