Vadodara, June 8: Underscoring the importance of teamwork, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that, Collective decision making helps in resolving contentious issues. Addressing the 9th edition of ‘Chintan Shibir’ a three-day interactive programme of state officials, Rupani asked officers to shun typical approach while addressing complex issues.
Speaking about the initiative of ‘Chintan Shibir’, a brainchild of the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Rupani maintained that positive deliberations in the three-day meeting would add value to the existing practice of problem-solving. The Chief Minister urged state officials to adopt new trends in information and technology to strengthen the process of good governance.
Taking a serious note of the allegedly delay in granting clearances, Rupani expressed that officers should think beyond government resolutions and rules in order to ensure the hassle-free time-bound delivery to end user. On financial management, he asked municipal corporations to work on unique plans of fund and resource mobilization instead of depending upon government funds.

During this three-day summit, Chief Minister, Council of Ministers, Secretaries and other Senior Government officials will brainstorm on urban administration, new agro opportunities, child, and maternal health, infrastructure, rural development, and education.
