Congress exposed! Power- hungry one family party used and exploited ‘Dalits’ in Bhima-Koregaon violence
New Delhi, June 8: One party, one family hungry for power has been keeping the security of the country on a stake. Right from the Bofors scam to riots, one will find only Congress party behind it. In the past, right from Sikh riots to Gujarat riots, one family and one party ‘Congress’ is responsible. However, shamelessly continuing the trend in hunger for power and derail PM Modi-led BJP government used Dalits as tools to spread violence in Bhima Koregaon.
Notably, hundreds of small-big rots took place in Congress regime but were never exposed as they misused the power. But this time, the hunger for power in Congress party has been exposed as they used Dalits as tools to spread violence in Bhima Koregaon.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday exposed the real face of Congress and its role in Bhima Koregaon violence that left one dead and several injured, including 10 policemen. The BJP asked the Congress to respond to the charges that it had links with the Bhima-Koregaon Dalit protests in Pune district and sought a response from the Opposition party’s chief Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing a press conference, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra brought a letter in a light that revealed the role of opposition in Bhima-Koregaon Dalit protests. He further accused Congress of creating a conspiracy to spread violence.
Referring to letter recovered from the house of Bhima-Koregaon violence accused Rona Wilson, Sambit Patra launched a scathing attack on opposition saying, "This letter isn't just a letter, it strips every cloth of modesty Congress party was trying to wear. They've been exposed before people. Dalits were being used as tools."
He further quoted that the letter written by a core committee member of the banned outfit, CPI (Maoist) appreciated the efforts of Rona Jacob Wilson and others to make Elgaar Parishad organized by Dalit and left-wing organizations at Pune's Shaniwarwada on December 31 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Bhima-Koregaon battle a success.
Reading out a letter, Sambit Patra said, “The Bhima Koregaon agitation has been very effective. The unfortunate death of a youth must be exploited to prepare future agitations and propaganda material”. “You saw Jignesh Mevani in Gujarat. This is part of a conspiracy to stop PM Narendra Modi's chariot in 2019 and Congress wants to create chaos in the whole country as they are not bothered about Dalits. The Congress never did anything for them," Sambit Patra added.
The letter also stated, “Comrade Manglu and comrade Deepu have been coordinating the Bhima Koregaon programme since two months with comrade Sudhir.” It also has references to a national political party (Congress) and a prominent political leader linked to the Ambedkar movement.
The press conference of BJP comes a day after Pune Police recovered a pen drive, hard disk and some other documents which were sent to forensics. They also found out Rona Wilson's connection with the Naxals. Importantly, Surendra Gadling, Sudhir Dhawale, Rona Wilson, Shoma Sen, Mahesh Raut and Rana Jacob were arrested in connection with the case on Wednesday.
BACKGROUND:
The 200th anniversary of Bhima-Koregaon movement took a violent turn this year when a youth died in clashes on during an event to mark the day. A 28-year-old man was killed in the clashes and mobs damaged and torched several vehicles and shops and ransacked houses on 1st January of this year. An estimated worth Rs 13 crore of a property was damaged or destroyed in the riots.
