Uttarakhand cuts ribbon for nation’s first Drone Research Center

Dehradun, July 10: Uttarakhand has unveiled new drone application research and cyber security center which are important in the direction of employment in the youth with technology. For this, polytechnic institutions are selected and trained there.

 

CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that more and more cyber security in smart policing is going to be used so that effective action can be taken against cybercrime.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the Drone Application Research Center and Cyber Security Center on Monday in Information Technology Bhawan IT Park. This laboratory has been established with the help of NTRO (National Institute of Technical Research). On this occasion the cybersecurity, the Chief Minister said that this drone training center is the first center of India, it will provide training from 10 days to three months.

This will be of great benefit to the youth of the state and in technical education. Also, employment opportunities will also increase. The Chief Minister said that the benefits of this center should be given to selected Polytechnic colleges of the state so that the students who are studying there can be trained. Apart cybersecurity center has instructed the utility to monitor cybercrime. This will speedily act against cybercriminals and the center and laboratory will be helpful in Smart Police.

 

The MoU was signed between the State Government and NTRO in December 2017 for the drone research laboratory and training center. Within just seven months this state-of-the-art center has been prepared. This will be done in jobs like high tech training, forest survey, disaster relief and use of drones in rescue operation area. At the same time, the government will be able to train youth, police, forest, disaster management and security personnel through the center. Help to open cyber crime
