Bengaluru, July 11: A week after the maiden budget of Congress-JD(S) coalition, senior Congress leader, and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has asked H D Kumaraswamy to roll-back the move of fuel price hike.

According to media reports, Siddaramaiah expressed reservation over the revised rate of petrol and diesel rates.

Earlier, Siddaramaiah had defended Kumaraswamy saying that small increase in sales tax on diesel and petrol would not be a burden on citizens.

On July 5, the Kumaraswamy government had revised the tariffs of petroleum products to ensure the resource mobilization.
