Amit Shah to attend key meeting of Telangana BJP tomorrow

Hyderabad, July 12: In a bid to fine-tune the state organization ahead of the crucial 2019 general election, BJP Chief Amit Shah on July 13 will fly down to Hyderabad to attend the organizational meeting of Telangana unit.

Confirming the development, BJP state president K Laxman said that Shah will interact with key party officials and state office bearers to finalize the poll strategy. “BJP is gearing up to win two-digit seats, out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state”, Laxman informed.

According to reports, BJP National Chief will review the performance of the state unit and local leaders. During his short Visit, Shah will take a stock of the socio-political situation of Telangana. He is also scheduled to address party functionaries

Commenting on the prospects of BJP in the newly crafted state, Laxman expressed that  BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah will improve its tally in 2019 general election as well as Telangana assembly polls.

Currently, BJP enjoys the support of two lawmakers in the state assembly and one member in parliament.
