BJP to continue poll tie-up with JD(U): Amit Shah

Patna, Jul 12: BJP Chief Amit Shah has announced that BJP and Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) will jointly fight the upcoming 2019 General Election.

As quoted by ANI, addressing the gathering of BJP workers here, Shah hoped that BJP -JD(U) alliance will sweep all 40 segments in Bihar.

 

Earlier in the day, the BJP National President met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. According to media reports, both the leader had brief interaction over the current socio-political situation in the state.
 

After meeting Nitish, Shah chaired series of crucial organizational meeting and reviewed the performance of state unit. He also addressed the meeting of social media activists.  

 

Speculations were rife about the strained relationship between the leaders of two parties on the issue of seat sharing.
