Bengaluru, July 13: Days after Siddaramaiah’s letter on fuel cut, it seems that Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is in no mood to roll back the proposed fuel tariffs. On Thursday, addressing the state assembly, Kumaraswamy refused to entertain the plea of state Congress leader.

As quoted by New Indian Express, the state government has decided to revise the waiver scheme where Kumaraswamy government has altered the scale of loan waiver from 25,000 to 1lakh for running crop loans in all cooperative banks.

Responding to the issue of Anna Bhagya scheme, a pet project of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Kumaraswamy assured that state will continue with the food security scheme introduced by Congress government.

Earlier, Siddaramaiah had requested H D Kumaraswamy to roll-back the move of fuel price hike. He also expressed concern over the future of the Anna Bhagya scheme.

On July 5, the Kumaraswamy government had revised the tariffs of petroleum products to ensure the resource mobilization.
