London, July 13: There are only a few leaders in the world who cannot be ignored. Either you love them or hate them but cannot ignore them. Amongst them, one is United States President Donald Trump. The people of US love him but people of United kingdom hate him like anything.

Notably, as soon as US President Donald Trump reached the United Kingdom, widespread protest erupted shadowing his every move. Hundreds of demonstrators chanted outside the US ambassador's residence where Trump was staying on the outskirts of London, providing a preview of the forceful protests expected during his two-day British stay.

Before reaching the palace and receiving greetings from British Prime Minister Theresa May, Trump's convoy met with jeers from demonstrators banging pots and pans, and another pack of protesters lined the roads near palace. Their signs read, "Dump Trump," ''Lock Him Up," ''There Will Be Hell Toupee."

US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived in the UK on Thursday afternoon with an aim to focus on post-Brexit trade. Trump will also meet Queen Elizabeth II. When asked by a media person on how he feels about planned protests in London and elsewhere in the UK ahead of his visit, Donald Trump said that he thinks that they love him lot.

Trump said that he was popular in Britain, citing his strong line on immigration. The US president also said he told EU leaders they had to be careful because immigration was 'taking over Europe'.
