Saving innocent Souls:105 children freed from the Madarsa human trafficking trap in Jharkhand

Ranchi, July 13: Government Railway Police (GRP) and Balidih Police Station, on Thursday, 105 children from Dhanbad-Alappuzha (3351) Alleppey Express were alighted on the basis of information. 84 children and four Hafiz were alighted to Bokaro station and 21 children were alighted to Ranchi station. All the children were taken to Madarsa located in Khammam, Telangana. They are between 7 to 14 years of age.


 

Hafiz, who is accompanying in the initial inquiry, said that most of the children are living in the Narayanpur block in Jamtara district.

During the investigation, it was found that everyone except the two had the ticket of Vijayawada to Dhanbad. With the support of the Child Welfare Committee, all the children have been accommodated in the Chas-based Co-operation Village. About 40 children of the family have arrived from Jamtara late in the evening to Bokaro.

All children were sent to child shelter to Ranchi. Child Welfare Committee has feared that the matter is related to human trafficking. At the same time, the police say that investigation of this case is going on. Only then will it be appropriate to say something. All children brought from the train are minority communities.

Hafiz said that the children are taken to Khammam because studies are good and children do not try to escape.
