Infosys Foundation to join hands with Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation

Bengaluru, July 16: Leading non-profit organization Infosys Foundation has joined hands with Karnataka government for the development of Bengaluru Metro. The Foundation will contribute Rs 200 Crore for the Metro Station construction.

Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy today called on Karnataka Dy-Chief Minister G Parameshwara and discussed the roadmap for the proposed project.

The Official MoU between Infosys Foundation and Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation will be signed on July 19.

As quoted by Deccan Herold, Infosys Foundation is funding the construction of the Konappana Agrahara metro station on the R V Road-Bommasandra line.

Informing about the development, Parameshwara who also heads the department of Bengaluru Development took to twitter and shared the information about the new collaboration.

The Minister also urged Infosys Foundation head to back the project of towards construction of Police Quarters in the State.
