New Delhi, July 17: Amidst all-party meeting assuring support and smooth functioning of the proceedings during the Monsoon Session, a different picture comes in limelight with Congress Leader Mallikarjun Kharge stating that the opposition is trying to bring in a vote of no confidence.

The opposition on Monday held a meeting sorting ways to corner the government on the issues brought up during the monsoon session. Talking to the media, Congress Leader Mallikarjun Kharge said, “A 12 party meeting was held and they agreed upon bringing a vote of no confidence and will also demand the special status for Andhra Pradesh, and by tonight the party will mobilize it as much as possible.”

Apart from the Congress leader, TDP MP Srinivas Kesineni said that the party had written a letter to Lok Sabha Secretary General, notifying it to include no-confidence motion in the council of ministers, in the list of business for tomorrow.

Proclaiming for a smooth and sound proceeding of the matters addressed in the monsoon session tomorrow, the news from Congress party leader comes as a jolt to the aforementioned statement. The session holds 18 sittings and the top priority given by the government majorly focuses on the Triple Talaq Bill to be passed.

Talking to the media, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar stated that the meeting was positive and the opposition promised to provide support and smooth proceedings of the issues.

Claiming of women empowerment, the party has shown double standards always pulling back the progress and development of the country.
