Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan, legendary cricketer Vivian Richards invited for India Day Parade

New York, July 20: Superstar Actor Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti Haasan will grace the 38th edition of India Day Parade in New York. The mega event will be held on August 19. The maverick actor will be the Grand Marshal of the parade.

Besides Kamal Haasan, actor-singer Shruti Haasan, legendary cricketer Vivian Richards will be the Guests of honor. Eminent singers Kailash Kher and Shibani Kashyap will share the stage with India luminaries.

The prestigious event will be helmed by Federation of Indian American Associations. On this occasion, Indian diaspora will converge for the grand celebration of 72nd Independence Day. ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ will be the theme of this year’s India Day Parade.

As quoted by PTI, Srujal Parikh, President of Federation of Indian American Associations informed that for the first time, members from South Asian and Caribbean nations, senior diplomats from Antigua, Sri Lanka and Nepal will witness the most anticipated India Day Parade.

Last year, Baahubali Stars Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah Bhatia were the main attraction in the New York’s India Day parade.
